You have many thousands and hundreds of herds for giving and greatness; we have made Purandara, Indra, renowned through our songs for help.
He who gives all wealth, the delightful priest among people, to him the first vessels of honey go; let the praises reach Agni.
Like a horse with words, the generous ones, skilled in chariots, are praised; both in offspring and descendants, O wondrous lord of clans, you grant the wealth of the generous.

To Indra, indeed, the offerings are brought; to Indra, at the sacrifice, the priests call; to Indra, for the gaining of wealth, we invoke Indra, the bestower of riches.

Purifying himself with this shining golden hue, he overcomes all hatreds with his team; like the sun with his team, the stream on his back shines forth, the purifying ruddy one, the tawny one. When he moves in all forms with the hymns, with his seven mouths, with the hymns.

The wise one protects according to the eastern direction; with his rays, the chariot of the seer strives forth, the divine, visible chariot. The hymns have come, O heroic Indra, to gladden you for victory, and when you become the unbroken thunderbolt in battles, unbroken.

You know the wealth of the traders; you gather it with the mothers into your own house. With the thoughts of truth, in the house, you make the distant song, where the thoughts contend. With the three-colored, shining wings, you have placed radiance; you have placed radiance. And for us, grant the wealth of cows, the thought of horses, and the strength of men for help.

Great is the aid of Mitra, crossing over, upholding truth; around the sacrifice you have taken your seat.
This, at your assembly, is like a pigeon in the nest; this word, indeed, I do not conceal from you.

The cows have come to the watering place, great with the sap of the sacrifice, both ears adorned with gold.
The stones have flowed together, the sweet juice poured into the vessel, at the outflow of the watering place.
They pour out with reverence at the watering place, the high-spoked, far-traveling, never-failing stream.

This one, honored by a thousand sages, has spread forth like the ocean; true is his greatness, I praise his power in the sacrifices and in the sovereignty of the wise.

The swift ones have sung the honeyed, clarified butter; the sages have chanted the hymn. For us, wealth has spread, the mighty power; for us, the streams, O Indu, are our own.
O Indu, pressed with cows and horses, skillful, wealthy, pure in color, you are to be held among the cows.
