May you, O Agni, of great might, be our friend; with your bright flame, sit here on the sacred grass together with the gods.
Let your powers rise up, breaking the demon, O stone-splitter; drive away all those who oppose us.
With this strength, you have struck down enemies at the meeting of chariots, at the prize; praise him who, with fearless heart, has protected us.
No one can withstand the laws of this flowing one; break apart the one who challenges you in battle.
They urge on the exhilarating, golden one, the swift horse among the rivers, the drop, eager for Indra, full of desire.
Come, Indra, with your splendid horses adorned with peacock feathers; let no one, not even the binders, restrain you—come here as an archer overcomes the target.
You, destroyer of Vṛtra, break the enclosure, shatter the strongholds, born of water, charioteer of the bay steeds; Indra, you have broken even the firm ones.
You foster deep resolve like the ocean; like cows, you grant rich pasture; as rivers flow to a lake, so do you gather abundance.
As a bull, thirsty, comes to water, not turning away, so come to us, to our ancestors and to us; join the Kanvas, drink with us.
Let the pressed Somas delight you, generous Indra, for the one who offers gifts; you drank the Soma of that one, the best, in the bowl, and took the strength.
You alone, O god of great might, are praised; no one else but you, generous Indra, is the helper of mortals—I speak these words to you.
May your gifts and your aid never fail us, O generous one; let them never be diminished for us—measure out all human treasures for the peoples.
The shining daughter of heaven is seen, rising and spreading, as the sun's sister.
Like a bright, red horse, the mother of cows, rich in milk, the Dawn has become the friend of the Aśvins.
She is the friend of the Aśvins, the mother of cows, and Dawn, you are the mistress of wealth.

This new Dawn shines forth, beloved of heaven; I praise you, great Aśvins, for your beauty.
You two wondrous ones, mothers of the river, bestowers of wealth, wise gods, knowers of riches through intelligence.
Your praises are spoken, your songs resound on the broad earth; may your chariot, O Aśvins, come with abundance.
O Dawn, bring us that splendid wealth, endowed with swift horses, by which we may sustain both offspring and descendants.
Dawn, come today to us here, in this place rich in cattle and horses; shine forth for us, bestowing glory and truthfulness.
Yoke today, O Dawn, your red horses to the chariot endowed with strength; then bring to us all blessings.
O Ashvins, bring near to us your chariot filled with cows and gold, O wondrous ones, with united mind, for our journey.
Here let the gods, bringers of delight, wondrous ones with golden wheels, come swiftly to the pressing of Soma.
As far as you have made the song and the light for people from the sky, so, O Ashvins, bring us nourishment.
I consider Agni to be that treasure, to whom the cows come, to whom the swift horses hasten, who always brings strength and nourishment to the worshippers.
For Agni, the all-people's friend, gives strength to the tribe; Agni, pleased, goes to the wealth that is self-created; bring nourishment to the worshippers.
That Agni, whom I praise as the treasure, to whom the cows come together, to whom the swift and well-born horses come, bring nourishment to the worshippers.
Awaken us today, O Dawn, to great wealth, O radiant one, as you have awakened us before, in truthfulness, in noble birth, in horses, and in fair speech.
You who have arisen with good guidance, with a shining chariot, O daughter of the sky, arise with strength, in truthfulness, in noble birth, in horses, and in fair speech.
May she, the gracious one, arise for us today, O daughter of the sky, who has arisen with strength, in truthfulness, in noble birth, in horses, and in fair speech.
