Overview
Guruvayur is a municipal temple town in Thrissur district, about 26 km north-west of Thrissur city. It is known chiefly for the Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple, administered by the Guruvayur Devaswom, which is one of the principal pilgrimage centres of Kerala.
