Some jyotirliṅgas have more than one claimed seat: Vaidyanātha (Deoghar or Parli), Nāgeśvara (near Dvārakā, at Aundha or at Jageshwar) and Bhīmāśaṅkara (in Mahārāṣṭra, with other claimants); this journey marks one of each.
